9 augustus 2011 UPDATE: ACE drinkt tegenwoordig minder water zolang ik een enorme kom met water houd. Hij drinkt nog steeds veel water tegelijk, maar hij is minder obsessief in het drinken van de hele kom.
Zolang er altijd water beschikbaar is, probeert hij niet alles tegelijk te drinken. Ik moet hem nog steeds vertellen “dat is genoeg” soms. Naast dat hij veel te drinken heeft, laat ik hem 20 minuten op zijn hondenbed blijven. Dit heeft zijn overgeven vrijwel volledig verminderd. In plaats van honden kot elke dag op te ruimen, ruim ik een puke van honden ongeveer twee keer per maand op.
Update 2018: helaas is Ace overleden, maar hij leefde een lang, tevreden leven.
